Here are the Campaign highlights:


August – Campaign total tops £200 million.The sum of the £51 million is recorded for that financial year departing just £150 million to achieve within the remaining 4 years. Over £4.six million of funds elevated previously year originate from legacies. More particulars.

£3 million cancer center for Dick Vet School introduced in June.

£1 million donation to setup the Euan MacDonald Center for Motor Neurone Disease Research.

£24 million funding caused by the Scottish Executive to finance the brand new Center for Restorative healing Medicine.

£350,000 caused by The Gannochy Trust perfectly into a new Digital Imaging Suite for that Primary Library.


Plans are revealed for any new £37 million Vet School at Easter time Rose bush.

The £350 million College of Edinburgh Campaign is released in October 2006.

£150,000 in the Binks Trust to finance the LLM (Masters) in European Law.


The Medical appeal reaches its £49 million target for that Queen’s Scientific Research Institute in the Little France complex. Over 1000 alumni, buddies and staff have contributed towards the campaign.

Just below £42 million is guaranteed to construct The Informatics Forum, a condition-of-the-art research facility in the middle of the University’s central campus.
